Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Do the books have ecclesial approbation?

A: Yes! They have the Imprimatur and Nihil Obstat from the Archdiocese of Chicago. The books have also been given the Declaration of Conformity by the United States Council of Catholic Bishops (USCCB).

Q: For what age group are these book appropriate?

A:
They are intended for young people aged three years and beyond. However, although they are simply written, the concepts are not 'dumbed down' so they can be instrumental in the religious formation of older children as well.

Q: Isn't $54.95 a high price for the series?

A:
Each book is theoretically priced at $6.96. That would make the set $69.50. Since my goal is to have the set in as many children's hands as possible, I have established that each set be discounted to $54.95. The cost of printing a multi-color, full page illustrated book is quite high. The cost may have been less had we chosen to print in China, however we were determined to have this project be an American project. I truly wish it were possible to market the set more economically, but it just isn't.

In the June 10, 2006 issue of World magazine, the Editor in Chief, Marvin Olasky, dealt with the possible creation of more parochial schools and the massive costs of time and money involved in doing so. He ends the article with these three lines that I felt appropriate to Questions for God.

It will be very hard work.
It will demand a reordering of priorities.
But what's a child's future worth?

In reality, if parents and children read and reread this series for three years, it will have taken an initial investment of time on the part of the parents to read it to the very young child. That investment will diminish as the child learns to read it by themselves. It will also have taken the initial investment of $54.95 which spread over the three year period amounts to five cents per day. I echo Marvin Olasky by asking, 'But what's a child's future worth?'
